hands in my pocket

This week I put out close to 5 big ones for pal, deer, outdoor card, car tag and drivers license is coming. Also car e-test was done and although the garage told me it was free I got pissed and told owner it comes from my pocket in taxes. No wonder people are upset with gov,ts of all stripes but mainly left leaning ones that never miss taxing us to death. The fees to do with hunting especially chafe because the do nothing to deserve the rise. Grrrrrrrrrrr.
Should have said this past month or so and all on a pension. My wife says I should retire from hunting. Ha ha

Hi everyone,

It looks like Photobucket, the image hosting service we have been using to host our OTB images has changed their policies regarding hosting images for 3rd parties. We are looking at moving our images to another hosting service that will allow us to continue to provide the experience you have become accustom to. In the intern, until this issue is resolved, we will be using the default zeta board theme and the custom themes will be disabled.

Please be patient, we are a group of hunters like you who volunteer our time to keep this forum being the great place it has been for over 10 years. We are working on the problem and hope to have it resolved in a reasonable timeframe.

Not much to say really

seems with photo bucket doing its thing and the very few people who post i am saddened to see the forum like this.
I have been an admin, a mod and a member, i have quit and been kicked out of 2 of them titles but always been a member

Met dozens of people from the forum, still talk to many, and have hunted with quite a few, sitting in a duck blind, driving and doing the fly in moose hunts, bear hunts and deer, even invited a few northerners for their first turkey hunts.

Watched over the years families grow, kids get bigger and turn into men and women, even saddened with some people passing

Just at a loss for words for whats going on here

Road access act

Posted by Posted Image wilebski (Born to Hunt!) at May 21 2017, 02:14 PM. 8 comments

I and two other property owner's are getting cut off by a new land owner.
I drive off a municipal road through three private properties to get to my cabin/100 acres.
I and the other two land owner's are being cut off by the landowner who bought the first
parcel this month off of the muncipal road.
I do not have an easement, but when I bought the property nine years ago, the attorney assured me that
the road access act would protect me.
The road supposedly has been there almost 100years. there is an old rotted cabin/house on my property
where the road travels to. It is a trail type road not being maintained by the municipal.
The new owner want's us to travel 2 1/2 miles across crown land to access are's. The crown land side is all skidder
trail's since major logging has occured the last five years. One need's to cross three beaver bog's with the last being by canoe to reach are land... Before logging you could never get through that way only on a sno trail zig-zagging through the frozen bog's.
Is this law going to protect us. The new owner seems very confident from his attorney.
