I got one for Christmas and I hope that it works for me during the moose hunt. I realize that many of you live/work/play in areas where cell coverage is not an issue, but I wonder if anyone has one or tried one and can provide a report. Thanks. Sam |

What make model did you get? Is it fixed or portable? I'm interested in this too. We have cell reception about 200 yards from our camp but nothing right at the camp. I was looking at installing one of these on an old 30' tv tower at the camp. http://t.costco.ca/CatalogSearch?storeId=10302&catalogId=11201&langId=-24&keyword=Cellular booster |

Two of the guys at our camp are using boosters. I don't remember what make but they usually had to go outside or higher up on the mountain road to get decent reception. Now they both get to use their phones from inside the camp. |

It's a Wilson Sleek. They sell them at Canadian Tire. It's for your vehicle and comes with a booster/cradle, and stubby antenna which mounts on the roof of your truck. It also plugs into your cigarette lighter. The antenna is pretty short, but you can buy a longer one for under $20. I can get a couple of bars while on hill near my moose camp, but just can't reach the tower. Hopefully this kit will do the trick. I also plan to use it while camping as we always seem to be just out of range. Thanks everyone for your replies. Sam |

From the boosters I have used you add two bars. So if you only had a spotty bar at moose camp you would have three bars. I believe one of the guys I worked with has that same one for his black berry and it does the trick. You wont be disappointed. Good thing to have around here
