I was looking around online and had a hard time finding many places that sold Thompson Centre bolt action rifles, anyone know of any shops that sell them? I found them at cabelas canada but only in standard calibres, and was looking for one in a 20wsm. suggestions?

Ever since Smith and Weston took over getting them into Canada is very hard. Best bet would be to check with Ellwood Epps. Lebarons sometimes has them but are always in standard calibers. Epps will place a custom order for you with a deposit on the order.

I was interested in a venture predator , 223 ,in realtree snow camo, phoned up Ellwood Epps in orillia and they stated that they were very hard guns to get in canada and that it would be a 6-8 month wait! i then went into our local firearms store in Huntsville, called Trappers and they had the gun for me in 3 days! there supplier in ottawa had 12 of the predators in the snow camo alone.

There was a major recall on those rifles, sear pin failures I believe. Not that recalls are uncommon in the rifle industry, might explain the reason why they might be tough to get here in Canada .
