A friend and I are looking at booking a pronghorn hunt in wyoming this fall, we found an outfitter I think we are going to book with, but just wondered if anyone has gone there or similiar states and hunted antelope through an outfitter? I think we're going to go late Oct or early Nov and hunt with the rifle. Pretty excited about doing it! |

You do not need an outfitter to antelope hunt in Wyoming. That said, the private land areas in the Eastern part of the state would be much easier to hunt with an outfitter and they are basically over the counter tags or 100% draw. You are going to have one heck of an adventure. You can hunt with bow the two weeks before the rifle opener with the same tag by the way. It isn't impossible to take one with the bow. I would think prices should be reasonable and your outfitter will help you field judge your animals on your first hunt. Do not shoot the first one you see, you will see many. |

https://sites.google.com/view/north-river-outfitters/home You're not paying for a stay at the Hilton, you're paying to participate in nature. Anything can happen. I work part time so I can hunt full time YOU'LL NEVER SHOOT THE BIG ONE IF YOU SHOOT THE SMALL ONE FIRST | |
