I think hunters could have done the same thing if given more opportunity rather than giving all the deer meat to the dogs,also i doubt the wolves keep deer out of some areas i think they just killed a bunch and that why you don't see them.

I think nature is all about balance, wolves in reasonable numbers are healthy and needed. I know, they are a pain in the a$$ for farmers and those with livestock, that's why I said in reasonable numbers. Wolves also can more easily kill old and sick prey which keeps the herds healthy. Same with coyotes, in reasonable numbers they are okay as they are a link in the ecosystem food chain but it seems there are wayyyyy too many of them around the last few years and it is throwing the balance off. Just my humble opinion.
