Eventhough it focusses on the U.S. I thought this was an interesting article to share.

Very good article. I think that the main battle as this article points out is hunting's fate is largely in the hands on the non hunting public. Unfortunately alot of the non hunting public see ads from the anti's with an "endangered species" being harvested with untrue facts and a headline that catches the eye, anyone who isn't informed on the subject makes a judgement that hunting is wrong with that simple picture and a lie of a headline and then in turn support the anti. But if they were educated about the actual facts they would more then likely take a different stance on the subject. Here's a good example http://www.petersenshunting.com/2014/01/18/antis-wrong-corey-knowlton-hunting-black-rhino/

Anyways I've been thinking of trying to make a short film to post online that basically points outs facts about how hunting actually funds wildlife conservation with license sales, auctions, and point out different groups that do it, e.g. rocky mountain elk foundation, ducks unlimited, wild sheep foundations, SCI and show the different projects that these organizations are working on to conserve wildlife, and then get some interviews from different outfitters that donate hunts that go up for auction and bring funds to these groups along with some statistics on the amount of money hunting brings to different parts of the economy, and try to make it like a documentary film that the non hunting public would learn from and maybe sway them to support hunting even if they don't actually hunt themselves.
