As much as I didn't want to make the drive, I had to drive up the 401 from Windsor to the Toronto area, and what a nasty drive in nasty weather it was Got bumped off the 401 early, had to follow a truck along the back roads and finally back onto the 401, driving slow as the others and trying to watch for vehicles a quick white out in front of me, slowed down a touch more and then all was clear. 2 vans stopped dead in front of me, hit the brakes, "Nascar" mode, sliding and playing with brakes and steering I was able to just miss the vans and finally came to a full stop beside him on the shoulder. Crap I thought, that was close, damned close. The van started to pull ahead and I rolled my window down to let them know that was close and thank our lucky stars I was able to miss. So as I stick my head kind of out the window, I hear a very loud noise and both mini vans were gone and were now replaced by a sideways truck, which was then replaced by another semi sideways truck, I had splinters of glass on my coat and pants and even found a few flakes of paint from the mini van that I was beside in my seat. I had to sit there a while and let the heart beat settle down, no one was hurt thank fully, but a few wrecked vehicles, called the wife and once things cleared finished my drive. Took 8.5hrs from the time I left till I got up here |

Holy crap. I bet that cleaned out your bowel. I know I would have been too shaky to drive for a while. Glad no one was hurt. |
