I have been looking to see if the MNR will reduce tag numbers for the upcoming 2014/2015 deer hunting season... the winter has been bad everywhere and I have to imagine deer numbers as well as other species will be way down.

Anyone have any insight into this?

Thanks, Tom

I know that they're reducing the moose tag numbers, particularly in WMU 28 (maybe more). Although I think the mnr is still allocating the tags right now.

I know the lodge that I have being guiding for the past 20 years in NW Ontario lost 50% of his tags this year.thats $20,ooo in revenue in one season. He took it out on the wolves this year , as a trapper he snared 20, that
should help the moose and deer a little bit
