Holy Sh*t they are bad, im in Lanark county or to be a little more precise French line rd, and Wow they are blood suckers, I tilled a small portion to extend the garden and they were absolutely nuts, then bad dog (JOE) came home and said lets plant the cucumbers ( cause we start everything indoors, and they were already producing flowers and little cucumbers) and Joe lost it doing it, they were bad!!!!! you couldn't breath with out eating a few!!!!! Good Luck on planting the garden this year! I still love it! no matter how much blood I lose planting this year! nothing beats the satisfaction and the fresh veggies I get out of the garden this year! its just like hunting, costs a lot more but it pays off to harvest it aswell!!!!

They are brutal here North of Havelock. Normally they are pretty much gone by turkey hunt but this shows us how far behind this spring is. I washed house today and got eaten alive. |
| I don't always chase tail, but when I do; its whitetail. Stay camo my friends. | |

I'd take the black flies. We got two inches of snow overnight. |

I think you misunderstood what the bad dog was saying. You two should have stayed inside where there were no blackflies! |
