Spent a couple of hours Sat afternoon morel hunting with my wife. Had a tough time getting used to spotting
them amongst the leaves and twigs but we eventually got the hang of it. Our first go at it.
We did pretty well.
I have heard how tasty they are and after frying a bunch up in butter I know what all the fuss is about!!

Wow, at first glacé they looked like zoomers, I might is it have to keep my eyes peeled for them the next time I'm out and about, do they only come out in the spring then die off ?

Great score of morels! They are my favorite Spring mushroom. I like to pan fry them in butter. Make sure you clean all the sand out of them.
