I'm wondering if anyone knows a good place to buy seed in or around winnipeg. I'm having a hard time getting field peas here and will be making a trip west to pick up some taxidermy so thought I could kill two birds with one stone. Thanks.

I would call some seed suppliers out that way. Even if they order it in for you so you can pick it up when you get there. I'm late getting mine in the ground but only because of time.

I usually buy my seed from Speare Seed which I receive through Canada Post. I'm not certain if they ship to Winnipeg, worth a try. Try sending an email, here is last years price list. Sorry lost page -3.

Not sure if this helps but if you contact emo feeds you can see what they might have and also, Larry Lamb south of emo a few miles carries various seeds. Not sure about peas but you can make phone calls. Google them up to get contact info. It would be on the way to Winnipeg if you go through Baudette and it is a pretty drive.
