I posted this here instead of the deer hunting section as it is not really hunting. Look at these two pictures. Both were taken in the same field but one was taken in 2008 and the other tonight. Is it possible it is the same deer? The 2008 picture of a more developed racked deer. ![]() Tonight's picture. ![]() Could two different deer grow such a similar huge drop tine with a sticker near the base on each one. As far as i know the 2008 buck was not seen after 2009 (until today?). |

I found my pictures from 2008. Here are two more for comparison. The first picture was taken on July 16 2008. ![]() And a crop from yesterdays, July 12 2014 photo. ![]() Note on both drop tines there is a sticker point coming straight up just out from burr. |

the coloration on that deers face is almost exact, between the eyes down towards the nose, and since in that area no hunting it might be conceivable that it is the same deer |

It might just be me but I see the 2008 one having a much heavier body. Say the 2008 one was 3 to 4 years old it would make the new picture around 10 years old. I think it is one with same genes as 2008 one. |
