What is the best seeds for warmer greens? Rye, Winter wheat, Anything else out there? I put brassica's, that's more for cold temps... |

My deer love dwarf essex rape, they started eating that early Sept, the same time Rye would be good. Rye/oats/peas is the typical warmer mix. White forage clover (Alice works good for me) or hairy vetch for warmer weather still. |

So are you saying mix all three? Rye,oats & peas? I have seeded a rye patch itself or oats separate before... I have never mixed it. |
