Gang check this out. Just found it on Youtube.
A film that is 10 minutes long of hunting moose in Newbrunswick which is 102 yrs old......................classic!

That was a great old film. I really enjoyed that. I'm fairly sure the railroad at the start is in my home town. I'm sure greenhorn will enjoy this, it was filmed not far from Chipman.

After 2.5 hours of uploading I finally got to see most of it. lol))) .It looked like they fired from a plat form but never did see that moose.I sure was funny watching him shoot from the canoe.He didn't waste any time shooting,lol.
lol))) It reminded me of my early days of hunting partridge.We'd leave at first light and near dark we hop a train to get home.Can you imagine 3-4 young fellows with guns getting on a train lol))) lol))) .Brent j..

Thanks for sharing! Looks like it was quite the ordeal getting there. I wonder what those hunters would think about moose hunting today e.g. 4 X 4"s, ATV's, Google Earth, RV's, etc. That style of hunting was considered normal back then, while today, many of us wouldn't hunt without any conveniences.
