...you pull the trigger!
Buddy Rick corked a good one on Thursday. Same spot he missed him 3 weeks ago!
Three of us went out around 5pm to get him.
We got back at 4 am after getting him halfway out. Broke a chain on a quad @ 2:30am and decided to call it a day(night?).
I was back at work yesterday so the boys went back to finish it off....took another full day.
I was too tired to lift the camera but I'll get a couple pics up shortly. (;

Right on, cant wait for the pics.
Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority,and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a bowel movement by the clean end

Sound like you guys are having some fun, I've been in the same situation a couple times... I always say that you appreciate the animal more when you get to spend so many hours up close and personal with it - I guess you guys are really going to appreciate this Moose. Can't wait to see the pics

I know what you mean when the trigger is pulled the work begins...dropped the cow I shot this year at the end of a lake and had to go for a nice little swim to retrieve her....not pleasant!!

Congrats again :thumbsup:

That's a nice one! :allright:

Thanks for the picture, Bill. Congratulations to your buddy, Rick, as well to you and the rest of the group. :cheers:

He looks like he could be the twin of the one I had broadside at 75 yards this past archery season. Gotta hate it when the wind shifts at the wrong time and you got no time to reposition.

Beautiful bull. You know what they say though." Moose hunting is alot of fun until someone ruins it by shooting one". Or, "the quickest way to ruin a perfectly good moose hunt is to shoot a moose". And lest I forget, " the best moose to shoot is the one who is putting it's fourth hoof onto the logging road". And I guess it's a bit like the old Indian said, "when you kill a moose you don't move the moose to your village, you move your village to the moose". :lol!!!:
I'd rather be Moose hunting.
