Hey Guys- I am trying to plan my trip north across the border to try and find some moose sheds, and am trying to narrow down the area I want to focus on.

The areas I am thinking are Southwest of TB along the border of the States or possibly aroung the Atikokan area. Basically along Hwy 11 is the focus with some ventures north from there in the future.

With out asking for specific spots(though I will take all tips!! ) which areas would you recomend. Each area has plenty of logging activity and that is what I will focus on.

All info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Atikokan, Ontario
You are looking for some yarding areas I presume. I know of some in the Marathon/Manitouwadge area. I know lot's of locals around Atikokan find sheds here and there. I'll ask around a bit and get back to you. I might be interested in this. I never shed hunted for moose antlers. When do you plan on going?

I will be up this spring. Our best time here is typically end of april, first of may depending on the snow amounts. I live 4 hours from the Grand Portage crossing and 2 hours from the Fort Francis crossing.
