i'm a Pennsylvania deer hunter and i do get pumped when i see a good buck anytime. i was in maine hunting and had the wifie along. while i was out hunting one of the guides his wife the nice lady cook and my wife went on a moose watch. since my wife never saw a moose in the wild she couldn't wait. the guide said ladies right down in here we always see'em. there stood a couple whittail deer and a good buck. they went nuts look look deer deer. my wife was dumb founded. she says there deer whats the big deal. we don't see alota deer. she says i don't see any moose wheres the moose. she never saw a moose. poor gal . the only moose wifie saw was the moose crossing signs along the roads....later

Moose don't always cooperate when you want to see them they are not there and when you don't want to see em....like driving the highway at night....they there. |

A few years ago my wife got her look at a moose in the wild up close. We were fishing a back lake and nature called for her. She went to the bushes and came back white as a gohst. She was doing her business and said a large bull moose walked up to her. She said that was way to close. |

In Maine seeing a deer is a bigger deal than seeing a moose. In Vermont seeing either is amazing.
