I still haven't decided where I plan to hunt yet but I am leaning towards a late season rifle hunt. I haven't done that for quite awhile. Still debating on applying for the bow hunt. Probably in unit 12B.

I'll be applying with the rest of the gang in WMU 54. Will most likely pick up my license this week. Hopefully when I go to grab my second turkey license.

I still haven't put in yet. Still deciding. I could go with 13 or 11A but 13 would require some travelling and there is more pressure and 11A while close is loaded with whitetailed deer and moose numbers are not as high. Hmmmm.

My partner and I put in as a group for a bull in WMU 13. If we get a tag we plan on hunting the same area as last fall. We went out a few weeks ago to our spot and did some blind work, made a couple of salt licks, and also dropped off a couple of mineral licks. Northshore.

My gang is applying in WMU 19. There aren't many tags but it is the area we normally hunt. Hopefully one of our guys gets a tage because a couple of us are in pool 2 because we had tags in another area last year. We also lost our hunt camp leader in a tragic vehicle accident last winter so this year just isn't going to be the same. I was going to forego this year but that would be disrespectful of his memory. We'll miss you Skip.

28..Bad Dog and I are part of a gang that gets a bull tag from the camp we stay at, so then we all apply for a cow tag. Should have enough guys applying this year to be guaranteed a cow tag.

The group is applying for an archery bull in WMU-19 and we have a bull and cow tag for the same WMU from the camp. I applied individually because I'm in Pool 2 this year, so I'm not expecting to get a tag in my name for this season. No big deal, we'll have more than enough tags.
