So for starters, I don't really want to drive 12 hrs away! I am in Lanark ont,(45mins west of Ottawa) yes there is moose here but far and few between Lots of gangs are succesful here, It seems to me it's a deer hunting area than a moose area. Im not going this year due to my father and his brother always arguing and that the crown land we hunt on is becoming over run with new people (it's not fun anymore). I would like to moose hunt, so this is my plea! I have not seen a moose, having gun in hand for my 4years exp. but have done the labour and gutting to get it out! Also are Women allowed in your camp! Not in the one I was in! My Gf would love to go and for the last 2 years it was a NO (not my choice) too her. Would like to here that opinion, this day and age women are getting involved in the hunt! My opinion good for them. I understand it's a guys getaway from the wives. But if they work as hard or harder than we do and dish it out as much take it (hunt camp) hey! So just wondering if anyone was looking for a new member or 2.
