We are seriously thinking of hunting in this area next year. As all can see, tags are very easy to come by in 15B. Just would like to know how crowded it'll be in this area. Expecting allot of hunting gangs using Graham Rd. as main access to 15B. Any past experiences would be greatly appreciated. Not looking for place to go, just wondering how crowded it is up there.

There are no lodgings so you will obviously have to camp. If you go the first week you will need to be there a minimum of 3 days before opening day to get a spot...it gets hunted extremely hard the first 3 weeks of gun and even in to the 4th week you will have plenty of company, thus making the moose skidish, deep in the bush and very hard to hunt. Good luck

Graham area has been over hunted. I haven't seen more than a couple of moose all winter. Not good. Why there is so many tags available I don't know.

Hunted it for a few years and yeah its busy better off if you have enough guys to get a tag in 15a and hunt the other side of the road noone there. Graham rd is the dividing line for 15a 15b

TUFF AREA TO HUNT.............bush is thick and the roads are starting to get bad
lots of hunters, hardly any cutting, some areas have been recently cleared for chipping and there were signs everywhere...10 hunters here, 15 hunters hunting here.............what a joke
as a matter of fact there are more hunters during the 2nd and 3rd weeks
UNBELIEVABLE how many people are there, truly looks like a pumpkin patch
from the bottom all the way up to Eskimo rd....km 150, hard to find a secluded area, no more respect, hunters driving, riding, walking into your setups without nary a thought or a "sorry" just a huff and a puff

20 yrs ago.............nobody
10 yrs ago.............not bad still ok
last copule of years.............circus

15A sounds like a plan

I think its a good area and getting better...most of northern ontario is damn good and every area has good pockets of moose. People get stuck on finding the new cuts so they can see a country mile..but moose don't like open spaces. 15B has Real good areas that are water access only and you can get away from the crowds.. There isn't alot of new cuts and the ones out there are bumper to bumper... Operations post areas because people lack common sense of operations and workers. We have tried not posting areas but people are "silly" and don't understand the process. Good Luck... and most times the old cuts have small open areas, which can be honey holes :yikes:

Hunting in a pumpkin patch doesn't sound like much fun. If we do decide to go, bringing boats and canoes to get the hell out of the pumpkin patch. Had real good luck using this technique at Sioux Falls. Silent, and best of all, no traffic jams.

To all good luck this fall
