Today it felt like fall for the first time and the tracks on the roads have increased throughout the week. I saw my first rake or rub today. It was on the classic alder bush and he was probably trying to take off his remaining velvet.. A co-worker told me he saw a hard horned bull last friday. Going in two weeks :yikes:

Flying into tunderbay wed. I will be back guiding at Hyatt's Manion lake camp for 3 weeks of bow season, I have a bull tag in my pocket so if I can get my clients moose maybe I will get to hunt. 17 years of guiding moose hunters and I still love every minute. Good luck to everyone heading into the moose woods.
