We all have heard about the cwd case in Michigan that was in a deer farm behind a fence. I have done a lot of research on CWD over the last few years on differant studies on it. No matter what veiws you have on it there isnt any study that is 100 % for sure. Now with the recent case in Michigan a 3 1/2 year old doe died , by law it is required that all deer behind a fence that die must be tested for cwd. This doe proved to be positive. All the remaining deer on this farm were also killed and tested for CWD but all came back negative. Now I ask myself how does a deer live 3 1/2 years thats CWD positive enclosed with other deer in close contact not transmit it to the other deer? And how did this doe get CWD in the first place? Am I the only one that doesnt understand this? Was the test work on this doe perhaps mishandled and was negative for CWD?

Hey extreme
I used to hunt on Bill Montgomery's property in Lanark about 6 years ago
I think his son Art has it now?
Anyhoo - we pulled some huge deer off that land over the years - If I'm ever up that way again, I'll pm you and let you know.
Cheers!
