Hey guys, just wondering if any of you guys put a low power scope on a 22 for practise shooting. IM 16 and going up north moose hunting so I am getting as much practice as I can for the .300, dad's idea was great shoot around 40-50 shots a night. Just wondering if any of you guys do it. Braidman

I used to have a fixed 4 on mine (just a cheap Bushnell), and it worked fine. I only took it off because it wouldn't hold a zero (one too many bang arounds on the floor). I'd go for it :) |

In a while will the smile on my face turn to plaster? Stick around while the clown who is sick does the trick of disaster For the race of my head and my face is moving much faster Is it strange I should change? I don't know, why don't you ask her? | |

I think it's a great idea. Get's you used to looking through the scope and quickly picking up your target. A scope turned my 22 into a serious target rifle. |

Practice makes perfect. It will help you more than hinder you. Good luck on your moose hunt.

The experience will on that scope will definetly do you justice in the time when you move on to a larger caliber. It's a good idea you have there... |

I had a fixed 4 on my Ruger 10/22 then bought a Tasco MAG 22 scope, 3-9x32. For $40 it came with shooting glasses, ear defenders (-28 dB), rings and scope covers. I can shoot pennies off a rail fence at 40 yards. And with the 25 shot banana clip... well let's just say Mike E |
