![]() ![]() ![]() i was at my grama's house today when my dad (Archer ontario) and i were shooting our bows in the back field and out of nowhere comes a rabbit. I said to my dad i'm going to shoot that rabbit so i pulled my Jennings Rackmaster back and i was shaking like crazy but i just shot it right behind the front shoulder. I just got my first bow kill. my dad was so excited he gave me a big hug. Man i'm hooked on bow hunting. I cant wait to get my first deer. does anyone know a good reciepe for rabbit it's our dinner tomorrow. :archer: 12 yard shot Jennings Rackmaster Carbon Express arrows young hunter laid a SMACKDOWN tonight.

young hunter Congratulations on your first rabbit with your bow. The shakes that you got is a good feeling but the shakes that you are going to get when the biggest buck your eye's have ever seen steps into view and your getting ready to shoot, well those shakes will be muuch worse LOL. Now I have eaten plenty of rabbit in my day and they are good to eat, the most tender part of the rabbit is the back. Now you if you just want to cook the whole rabbit up in the oven in a small pot thats fine but you might find the legs a little tough, so if you want you can make a little stir fry out of that part of the meat.
