Hey guys, this is my main hobby when it comes to the Summer. I race motocross in the CMRC division. Race mostly in SW Ontario.. At the end of the year in August i race the grand national championships.. people from all over Canada and the states. This year i did alright. I was hopping for better but the first day i got a bad concusion when I got taken out and landed on. I ended up getting 12 in 125 Jr, and 18 in Schoolboy. I ride a 2008 Ktm 144.

Biggest jump on the track Natural Double it's called. roughly 90 feet.

Natural Again.

This is a jump you go up a pretty big hill and then land down it. It's a tunnel jump so people can go underneath of it!

:allright: Walton is a gnarly track....Love it. Congrats  You gotta love those KTM's...

I'd like to get my son racing....he's a little too timid though. How young were you when you started?

Just got rid of my Crosser a couple of years ago.The years of punishment add up :wheelchair:

Hey Braidman, great hobby, great excercise, At one time my whole family raced, then us old folks got too slow and the kids wouldn't ride with us anymore.

We've all done pretty well. I was factory sponsered by KTM in the 70's. My son was #3 AMA number plate National Cross Country on a 125 in 1999, and my daughter was ranked # 7 woman in the world in 1998.

Here's us in 2006, just before I had enough sense to retire.

My brother races the senior circuit in Western Canada and some in the US as well. He had faired well in previous years but due to having twins in May he has cut down on the riding...he has done a few cornergrass races near Calgary...it looks interesting...I used to race three wheelers but never did switch to motocross....check out cornergrass I believe the site is http://www.cornergrass.com/

That sure takes me back. When I was a kid in Quebec I did the same thing. I used to do all the CMA races in the province when I was 17-18 yrs old. Used to race junior 125 on a Suzuki RM125B ( look up how that thing looked compared to today's bikes ) a well as a CZ 250 also in Junior class. Didn't win much but had a great time.
