I'd let him walk myself, he is a beautiful buck. Are deer in town really common in Kenora?

He is a lot of great venison and jerky but I usually have the luxury of being able to pass up on smaller bucks and harvest a larger buck with my one and only buck tag.

I know they are plentiful, but I didn't realize it was a huge problem. What is it with kenora anyway? lol.

Is your back yard fenced?
If so close off the escape routes so he don't make it to the street after the shot. lol)))
A bow would be the weapon of choice in town, no noise. lol)))
Oh and don't let the neighbours know. :ph43r:

I'd tag him for sure as I travel out there to hunt deer but if I lived out there I'd let him walk and wait for a bigger one.

With only one buck tag, I'd let him walk knowing that there are better ones around

Almost know it all
close the yard off, fatten him up for a few years and then fill your freezer with him
winter time with snow and ice means ICE FISHING

I'd personally lay the smackdown on him... yeah, he's a good looking buck, and will get better looking with age... But that boy is begging to be shot.. almost like he's destined for your dinner table... (;

I love the F.F./Kenora area and will be up in November. I only have one question, how much bait are you putting out? Just kidding, I have personnally seen lots of nice deer right in town. Would I shoot him? No, I only hunt with a rifle and it makes too much noise (not to mention the safety factor). Beautiful pics though!!!
