That is surprising as they were talking about expanding but again that was when palladium was at a higher price. I have only been there once and it sure was an interesting looking operation.

That is terrible news yet again for NW Ont. The mill in Marathon is facing a vote to cut wages, benefits and holidays or shut down. This news just came out.

They put one contract mine on layoff here and stopped production of another.

Nickel was $20 a pound in the spring and now is $4.60.

Copper not so well at this time as well.

Bad news for sure, about 3 years ago the same thing happened in my home town. It was a paper mill, it's closure DESTROYED my home town, every little business is going belly up, no one wants to live there anymore. I know what it's all about as I've been through that before..
