My cousin just hit 2 calves while going south on hwy 69, wrecked his brand new F-150, he came around a corner and they ran out of the ditch. Dont know how much damage to the truck but its not drivable. Thankfully nobody got hurt. Hes got one of the calves, but has never dressed an animal, i might have to talk him through it later tonight. Keep your eyes peeled while driving everyone!

Hanover, Ontario.

Trucks can be replaced, that's why we pay insurance. As long as he is alright, that's the important thing. It is that time of year, everything seems to be moving these days.

One calf was accounted for but what happened to the other one. Maybe it would be wise to just go for a walk and see if the other one had dropped a bit of aways in the bush or someone else claimed it which was not mentioned ???

yea where's the second one? it's scary driving with critters moving so much, and moose are big targets to hit,, glad he's ok!! :allright:

trucks can be replaced, human life cannot,, he's lucky!
life is just too damn short,, so I try to spend it Living, Loving, Laughing and oh! taking pictures along the way!!

The main thing is that he's alright. My daughter and her boy friend were driving on #11 just north of North bay last fall and they hit a cow moose.Luckly he saw it first, jammed on the binders, and they skid right under its belly.thank god that they were in a small Cobalt SS .it was still small enough height wise, still bent back the windshield, and totalled the car. They were just cut from the glass. The police said that under those conditions,if they were in a bigger car/truck,my daughter won't be here today. It was one of the scarriest nights in my life.
