You guys are absolutely the best!!! Thank you all for the well wishes and prayers.... Rene's father would be overjoyed to know there were so many folks here wishing him on. He absolutely loved being around people, he made friends so easily no matter where he went. He always enjoyed going out on new adventures and creating new memories. He took fantastic pictures where ever he went and had the most wonderful stories to go along with all of them. Next best thing to having gone on the trip yourself. He really is going to be missed by everyone...

I read and re-read the notice in the paper, and there is no denying your dad led a full and interesting life. It's a good thing you guy's packed alot of hunting and good times into tyhe last couple of years. I mentioned this to you previously but it bears repeating for everyone else with aging parents., don't put off til next year what can be done /experienced this year, because all too often it seems ,next year doesn't come. This will go down as a landmark year for you and your family(not necessarily in a good way) so there's really no where to go but up !! I sincerely hope that next year brings better times and a more psitive outlook.

Sincere condolances, concentrate on how lucky you are to have shared the outdoors with him. Nothing can beat hunting, fishing or just breathing fresh air with your dad/ Mom and it works both ways. Not everyone is so lucky. I'm sure you have an abundance of great memories. He will be with you.
