The MNR is not what I would call "PRO" hunting. They are there to manage hunters, not wildlife.

Baiting is part of the sport as to witness on the camera's..... the night time activity that goes on at the bait pile.
It may be just a matter of time that a no baiting law will be implemented.....

Ya it really don't make sense. The tool they use to contain the disease is to kill deer. Baiting kills more deer. :crazy:

Michigan had a bad opener.The heavy rains and strong gusty winds all day Saturday made for some real spookey deer.Sunday was no different,snow instead of rain.We had over 6 inches of snow.Generally the opener,accounts for around 60% of the kill.Most of the deer we saw were already shot at,but did see two huge deer sneeking into the area around 1:20.Brent j..
