time to get some sausages done at the butchers, but once again I cant justify the cost $1.00 per sausage/30lbs of deboned meat needed. overall costs are about 180.00. I mean there tasty and all, but can I achieve this on my own. I have grinded my own burger for a few years now, and have also deboned my own deer before. I was looking at possibly adding my own sausage stuffer to the mix or possibly a electric grinder with attachments. Is there any brands i should look at? who else does there own? thanks again |

I made a trip over to the sausage maker to pick up sausage seasoning mixes. I have three different kinds, enough to do about 150lbs of meat. I purchased some pork trimmings, the butcher ground it all up for me, I only have to mix it up and stuff it in casings. Christmas may be busy. |
