lol))) i can't believe the hype on this snow storm.
I do have to admit, its coming down pretty hard. Its only been snowing for about an hour and we have 5 to 10cm already and with the wind its pretty poor visibility.
I think i'll start round 1 with the blower and try and keep on top of it.
Was going to do some scouting this morning after work and see where i was going to hunt tonight but don't think i'll get out until tomorrow morning now.
Anyone getting hammered yet?

It just started here in Bradford about 1/2 hour ago. I don't think its going to be the "storm of the Century" though. Toronto likely won't have to call in the army.

It's a grey day here with a few snow flakes in the air. It seems strange where at one time we used to get pounded by snow relentlessly we don't get it like the rest of Ontario now.

We've been getting hammered since 0929 this morning! I've already plowed the laneway 5 times.......I hope it eases up soon.

blower gave up the ghost this afternoon. Not good. it just died. Seems to not be getting any fuel.
I started taking it apart, why , i don't know, looking for something obvious i guess and what do you know. The primer line has a hole in it. I fixed that and its still not getting fuel.
I pulled that sucker till i was blue in the face and the plug is dry, should be soaked. I poured gas into the cylinder and it fires right up but only runs long enough to burn that off so its definately a fuel issue.
I'm wondering if the last time i had it in and it was running rough and they tuned her up, if the hole was there and the carb was setup while sucking that little bit of air and now that i've totally fixed that it just need the carb setup. ???
I have no idea which freaking screws to turn and i can't get it to run long enough to play with something
My buddy came over with the plow on his kingQuad and plowed out the lane so i'm good but Sunday when the next wave hits should be fun. My backs killing me from shovelling this stuff.
I love this snow, when the blower is working :crycry:

Glad mines working fine ,blew out the driveway twice before work and then the neighbor blew it out after 5:00pm, I was out hanging a treestand this morning around 8:00am and all of a sudden the wind picked up dramatically and then the snow started ,before i got out we had a foot on the ground making it tough getting out. At least i got the treestand in a perfect spot and I'm ready to hunt again.

Well, I only cleared my place once yesterday ;) took me 3 hours :omg:

Usually only takes about an hour with the snowblower but was a little deep on spots :cold:

As I sit here typing this I look out to see it is snowing again :omg:

i should be out hunting this morning but i have to deal with this blower. At least we didn't get anything overnight. Weather channel says 10 to 15more tomorrow. I think i'm going to price a blade for the quad.
Wasn't expecting to pay, i'm thinking 700.00 for a blade today but hey, you can't take it with you!!!
Hoping to hit the stand this afternoon.

This snow is really upsetting. The last time I had a chance to get out, we got to out property and the snow was almost knee deep and deer were not moving... now, this weekend is my last chance to get out. Snow again... I may not want to take the risk in driving in it tomorrow morning. IT's almost as if someone up there doesn't want me hunting... :bang:

If we get 6 months of this I'm moving. I HATE WINTER.

Take a kid hunting...you'll need someone to drag it when you get older! They are our future.

Hanover, Ontario.

Weather network said light snow here. I just finished shovelling a foot of snow of my driveway and it's still snowing. I wanted to get some of it done before the plows come and bury me. I really need to get that plow put on my ATV.

I don't mind the snow, but my legs are too short to hunt much in it. Even with the snow shoes on it's deep for me.

Whatever happened to Al Gore and his "inconvinient truth"? He seems pretty quiet about global warming these days. lol)))

Spent another 2.5 hours with the snowblower again this morning & by the time I was done it looked like I had not even started almost

I have only used my snowblower 3 times since I bought it & it is already due to have the oil changed for the first time (the manual recommends to change it after the first 5 hours of use) :omg:
