A hunter's worst enemy is another hunter.....so many opinions, ethics, morals, traditions, embedded in every hunter passed on from generation to generation.

Absolutely right. As long as we all play by the rules we should support each other regardless of whether or not we employ the same set of standards or hunt by the same methodology.

So no matter what you hunt or how you do it, I say good luck and happy hunting.

How ironic that I happen to check my trail camera today to find that some other hunter has stolen it. F*****G ignorance!
I get just as excited when others shoot an animal versus myself (sometimes even more) but in an instance like this, where people just have no respect to other hunters, makes my blood boil! What gains to you get by taking away from another hunter.
As much as I agree that all hunters deserve equal respect, HUNTING IS NOT A SPORT FOR THE LAZY. If you have to steal another hunters entire seasons efforts of scouting, you don't deserve to be hunting.

This is so true.
The line of work i am in , i see it all the time.
Regardless of what we use to hunt, or how we hunt, or where we hunt, or what animal we chase.
We are all on the same side when it comes to being allowed to hunt.
If we don't stick together towards a common goal(s) , all we are doing is pulling ourselves apart and making ourselves look childish, thus only making the Anti-groups job easier.

It's time some of us changed the way we view other hunters as " that guy who might take the 8 pointer i've been chasing all season" and start seeing him as " that guy who might have a chance at a great buck that i know is here, and if he does, well, the big boss upstairs decided it was that guys meat , and not mine."

I didn't fill my tag this season, there were ups and downs, Crown land hunts etc.

There is a member on here who even let me hunt his family farm TWICE .( i'll keep his name secret so he's not flooded with requests to hunt his farm) .

A total stranger helping a total stranger. We sat and had coffee and chewed the fat. He knew that there was a chance i might kill a monster on his own family farm. But he still let me sit and try.
That is what hunting is all about , 2 people with the same idea in their heads , working for the common goal.
It's unfortunate that there are so many Butt-heads out there who don't see it this way.

High-five to all of you who agree with what im saying.

I'll take it a step further, while catching up with an old friend it comes up she is an avid fisherwomen. I say that great and mention I like to hunt and she starts going off how it cruel and blah blah blah! I put it out there that if hunting goes quickly fishing is gonna be gone too. She quickly shut up. All outdoors people need to stick together. :petasux:
