first off, noone ever buy Itaska boots. they are the worst damn things i have ever worn and becuase of them falling apart and noit keeping my feet warm i am back to square one.

I have been through many pairs of boots and cannot find a pair to keep my feet warm. I would prefer rubber boots but also cant afford to break the bank of boots over $150 ish.

Any ideas or reccomendations?

I have a pair of Arctic Shield insulated boot covers I put on once I am in my stand on the cold days. They work! I have used electric socks in the past and they worked too but the heating element is just on the toes.

you can buy thermacell heated boot insoles they work like a charm, or you can find those hot pockets warmers that are for your feet not your hands they just stick to your foot.

sometimes you have to pay to play, invest in good equipment it lasts longer.

Lacrosse Alpha Burly Pro 1600's and Wigwam heavy wool socks and a liner sock will help, and a boot dryer to keep your boots dry and stinking.

Do the boots have to be camo?? I'm gonna try the Baffin Titans this year, they're rated to like -100.

Has anyone tried the EVA foam boots? I think some of the ones without liners are good to -50C while the ones with liners have a -85C comfort rating.

These ones are Canadian made and crazy light. I'm thinking of getting a pair but I'm looking for some reviews.

My wife complains of cold feet and I just picked her up a pair of these at our local Co-op.

They have the -85C rating. We'll see how they work.

just not near as much fun though missing out on November *L*

Still think the main issue isn't the boots or the socks, its our feet. Sweaty feet = cold feet in the stand. A few in the past have mentioned using non scented arid extra dry spray on your feet to prevent the sweating

If you don't have to walk to far I would go with the Sorel Glaciers or the Baffin Titans. I wear mine while sitting in a tree stand during Dec in Thunder Bay. Something else always gets cold before my feet do!
