I don't think I have ever seen a december this cold before and It doesn't look like it is going to stop either. We have seen a dozen or so days below -30 without wind chill added already. That is more than you usually see in an entire winter. What happened to global warming? :cold:

Looking at the forecast for the next week....-30 every night.....what the heck?

It's plus 2 here right now. I just finished getting all the ice out of the kennels. All left from the freezing rain we got last week. A little thaw is good for us here. Get the crust off the snow. That should allow the deer and turkeys here to get to the corn and beans left in the fields.

I don't mind cold temps but I like it cold and clear. Nothing beats chasing coyotes on a cold clear sunny day. Makes for the best tracking and hearing.

This afternoon at Cabelas it was + 8 degrees. Unbelievable change.

Now to head home tomorrow and the high temp for the week is going to be -24. Brrrrrr
