I got a question. Has anyone else noticed an increase in road kill so far this winter? Is it because of all the snow that they are on the roads?...I literally just got home from my hunting buddies house, been there all day. They found a moose on the 401 between ingleside and Cornwall. So we dragged it out back of his house and gutted it...came back and his daughter was like, "there are 2 deer dead across the road". Sure enough a doe and a fawn. So we spent all day cleaning and skinning and salvaging what we could. On my way back into cornwall....another deer dead on the road..like wth!

I would suspect it is the deep snow and the ice layer that is forcing them onto the roads. I was up in bracebridge on the weekend and saw 3 deer within 5 minutes on the same road...just walking down the side...
