I enjoy walking around in the forest and currently have 5 snares out (no success yet), but I don't know what to do. All I do is go out and check my snares and come back in.

What do you do?

I like to ride around on my sleds with friends and I too may get out and set some snares for rabbits later this winter. It is nice to be outdoors anytime. I love walking new areas of crown land if I can and I like to scout in the offseason as well. Planning on going to Montana this year to ride with 3 friends and might even do BC as well.

SNowmobile and pond hockey in the winter, nothing like taking the sled back to a cabin in the bush and playing pond hockey and having some pops and stayin overnight by the woodstove.

spring i spend alot of time shed hunting and moving stands, then its turkey season

These are all great ideas. I do love the peace and quiet away from loud TV's and loud heater fans. Next time just gonna take my time. :)

Gonna take a look at the maps and see if there are any lakes nearby to fish. :fishin:

Love walking around looking for mushrooms. At the same time, you get to check out new areas for signs of animals, food sources, trails.
