what are these buttons?

The little buttons on the forum topics page, to the left of all topics. The buttons say IPB on them, and some have an arrow on them...some buttons are highlighted, and some aren`t..... just wondering what they are for, and what purpose the buttons serve... thanks for any info.... :cheers:

not sure what buttons you mean, i'm not seeing it on mine. If you can take a screen shot and either post it or send it to me and i'll figure it out

ok nevermind i see the buttons your talking about.

not sure what IPB stands for but when thier highlighted there is a new topic or post since your last visit, just makes it easier to see what is new since your last visit
