Rick you missed a busy day. We had 150 deer brought in. The amazing thing is 4 went over 200" NT. and a fifth just under. I am still tired. |

Rick I would not have been very much good to you. I don't think I could have sat in a car for that long. Sorry I missed it but maybe next year. Rick |

Why, did you see it alive? |

Cc, Partikle's buddy found the deer's sheds from last year last spring. They hunted for him last fall, but unfortunately didn't have any luck. I'll let him fill you in. That deer is an Ottawa-Carleton Region area monster.

Good pics CC. I forgot my camera  so I didn't get to take any. This was certainly an absolutely shocking day. As Buckstopper mentioned, over 150 whitetail racks and 6 moose racks came in. 2 of the 4 nontypicals that went over 200 inches (and that's net not gross) were shot by 15 y.o. hunters as their first deer Two typical racks netted over 170 with many more in the 160 class. The racks in that room were absolutely stunning and the measurers did an absolutely phenomenal job of getting them done. They worked steady from 9 am until almost 4pm. All in all it was an amazing day. |
