Yep it was another great show. I think there was just over 100 racks scored today. Lots of them were just awesome! Brought a couple racks I wanted to know what score they'd bring. My 9 point from 2001 grossed 122 7/8 and netted 117 1/8. My 8 point harvested this past December grossed 127 6/8 and netted 123. :D

My uncle brought 3 racks and 2 of them made the book!

Had a great time meeting and talking with the guys from here. :D

The venison sausage was great and I'll be back next year!

it was good to see so many familiar faces again and meet a few new ones. The day was a little busier than we anticipated so I didn't get a chance to meet everyone nor chat with many. I hope there will be other opportunities in the future.

The event was very successful and the folks at SCOBGA did a great job as usual. Our measurers showed up in great numbers and we finished the measuring in a record time. Special thanks to all of them for their service and support.

Any monsters show up Paul? Anything you weren't expecting or never heard of get dropped on the table to be measured?

yep, there were a couple really good sized ones that we'd never heard of. A new #2 typical muzzleloader record was brought in and I knew about the rack and had talked to the hunter but didn't know just how big it was.

The 214" NT left in the hunt camp was a complete surprise...and a nice one at that.

There was another big one in the 180-190 NT range (only seen pictures) that was supposed to come but couldn't make it.

All in all there were some huge bucks brought out yet again.
