As you probably all ready know, North Carolina has a different subspecies of deer then we have in our areas. The deer are smaller in body and antler. They have a few B&C sized animals and for the most part they were all on display at the show. Most people mount a 130 inch buck as it is considered a very large antlered buck for the region. Just awesome deer. Yes, the non-typicals sure do catch the eye. I am likeing non-typicals more and more all the time. I have never harvested any and have only seen one in the wild. |
