A man caught hunting moose in the Ignace area has been hit with a $3,000 fine.
The Winnipeg resident pleaded guilty in Kenora Court for making a false statement in a document and illegally hunting moose last Fall.
Court heard that Albert Taylor moved from Ontario to Manitoba in 2007, but used his Ottawa address to apply for an outdoors card as well as apply for Ontario resident hunting licenses in 2008 and 2009
