2-Wisconsin men have been fined $3,500 for illegally hunting deer in the Kenora area.
The Ministry of Natural Resources say the men harvested a white-tailed deer in an area that was marked as not open for non-resident hunters.
The men were fined $500 each for making a false statement to a conservation officer and a total of $2,500 for killing the deer in a closed season

LOL!! I post this stuff so that any of the scum poachers and any slob hunters out there know that this could happen to them. I have made thousands of posts here on so many topics that I can't even begin to explain. Heck, I created each and every section here and tried to promote each and every section. Not sure I appreciate being called out. Those people who screw up should not be hunting. There is a lot of responsibility that goes along with carrying around a weapon and I don't appreciate slob hunters tarnishing the image of hunting and hunters. Got a guilty conscious? You have been a member here long enough to know what I have contributed here. :spinning:

I enjoy and appreciate all your posts Rene, including this type of post. Its good news to hear some are being caught and getting more than a slap on the wrist.

I don't think there are too much "slob hunters" on OTB Renegade. Correct me if I'm wrong but most of us members on here are "members" because we love, respect and breath hunting/outdoors. For me, my ONLY holidays are booked during the hunting season every single year, I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars on various hunting trips tho I never put a price tag on them, I love and respect everything that has to do with the outdoors. I don't mind reading your posts about "slob hunters" but I just don't think that there are too many "slobs" on these forums. :readytorock:

No doubt we have a the cream of the crop for outdoorsmen and women on the forum. I just post news items on occasion. It is as easy as copy and past and done. I am glad the MNR is nabbing some of the hunters and fishermen with poor ethics as it sends a message and helps make the hunting and fishing experience better for the rest of us law abiding outdoor enthusiasts.
