Rene, we will be there Saturday and Sunday measuring and with the OMW booth. We have a great line up of measurers making the trip. They will be much needed as a lot of racks are anticipated and a few real good panels taking place(could be seeing the record books change again). Would love to see your 2009 buck Rene. The offer for lunch still stands if you make the trip.

Smitty, if you are driving from NW Ontario and show up at Bass Pro Shops then free lunch for you to. :biker:

Thanks. I really don't think it will score much more than 140ish but the deer was a big bodied brute and I watched him for a few years. The steaks and roasts off this deer are amazing. Man I love venison.

If I make it down it will be on Sunday since I work Friday night shift. I will post on this thread when I know for sure.

Keith-

would 45 mins outside of Barrie be considered NW Ontario? :crazy2:

Smitty, the funny part of that question is yes, to some Barrie would be considered north maybe not west but to some "north". Would still be nice to say hello if you can venture that far "south"lol

Just wanted to bring this one back up. We have some super high-end bucks coming to this event. Depending on the outcome of the panels, we may end up with 4 new records from this event! This is a chance to come and watch history in the making.

Hope to see many of you there on Saturday or Sunday.

Wow, records are falling! That's awsome. I will not make it down, just too far and too little time. If I was still in Marathon, which is 5 hours closer I may have pulled it off. Sorry guys. I would love to see some pictures after the weekend. What records are in jeopardy Paul?

that's too bad Rene. Would have been great to see you again.

The records in contention are Typ Archery, Nontyp Crossbow, and Typ Modern Firearm in the deer categories. And then there's Archery Moose as well.

Are the contending records being scored both days or will they be held until Sunday. I would love to be there and see them scored but it would be nice to have one day to schedule in insted of two.

paneling for most if not all is taking place on Saturday and mainly during the morning hours. I forgot about another high-end animal being brought in, a giant bear skull...possible near the top for archery.

Myself and Rick Teal will be there both days. I was hoping to have the new number two typical deer with crossbow with me but it does not look like it will happen.
