I took a call from a good friend last night and he had heard of this Wildlife Symposium being held today in Perth
Neither of us knew what to expect so we traveled down to Perth this morning and we ended up at a college near Perth Hospital.
SCI - Canada in The Rough- Angler and Hunter Cam Brownson-Alex Gouthro Moose Madness
and a top Turkey Hunting Expert John Franklin from New York.
Paul Beasley did a very informative Seminar on being able to harvest a once in a lifetime buck on a regular basis.
Alex Gouthro did his Seminar on Passive and Aggressive Moose calling anf John and his son layed out proper equipment calling techniques to end.
For 15.00 we recieved a ticket good for the day and a beautiful lunch.
and every ticket was dropped in a bucket for door prizes
I ended up with a camo gun case
BETTER YET they gave away a 4 day guided bear hunt in Elliot Lake
and a couple of guided turkey hunts
BEST To a hunter under 18
they gave away a guided turkey hunt a brand new Stoger 12 ga shot gun and they cover the cost of the hunting course and turkey seminar.
WHAT A GREAT TIME
and to top it all off i never heard a word about it
they hope to have an annual event
next year i will make sure that i post it here

Great time, brought a buddy and we both learned alot of new ideas and concepts. Paul did extremely well, the turkey fellas were a very personable pair and quite knowledgeable, and the moose calling techniques were put in a easy to learn way with a very humorous approach!

Also got to meet Cam Brownson of Angler and Hunter TV and was pleasantly surprised at how approachable and easy to chat with he is. All in all, good time!

Archer Ontario, sorry to have missed saying hi to you. Would have been nice to meet you.

Please do post a reminder, Bocephus. I would have made the 45 minute drive, if I had of known about it.
