What would be considered an extremely large bird? Would it be uncommon to get one over 20lbs? What about beard length and spurs?

On weight I would put 25lbs plus in that category. Lots in the 20-24lb range across the province but few top that 25 lb mark.

Beard length would be 11 inches. 10 inches is defintley long but again there is plenty in the 10 inch range.

spur length I would say 1.5 inches or anything above. Again I would say anything over that 1 1/4 mark is nice but you do see a few each year. 1.5 hooks and up are rare.

Is there any sort of world records kept about the wild turkey? I'm curious to find out about weights and such.
