Well I must say this has been the best turkey hunt ever for me !!!!! woohoo

I will keep the story short for now since it is late but after an excitting morning I decided to head back out this afternoon and see if I could get one going. As soon as I set up my bobblehead hen I heard a tom annswer to a crow a long way off in the distance.

After 45 mins of calling back and forth with this tom and calling him across some huge gullies he made his way into my set up.......

26.5 lbs

1 5/8 & 1 3/4 spurs

DOUBLE 9 1/2 " beards woohoo

Wow. That is amazing. So many great birds I'm hearing about but your really is exceptional! What were you using to call that Tom in from such long range and keep him coming all the way for you?

Amazing bird Drew, congrats!

:omg: 71.75 What a bird. Congrats, are you putting him in the FROW books? Can you double check the spur lengths to the 16th and let me know if you want it officially scored.

Thanks guys,

I was shocked to say the least when I realized how big he was and even then it really did not set in until I showed a few friends. It is defiantely going to be a hunt to remember.

I would love to get it scored P&Y, send me a PM and we can set up a time. I will re-check the spur measurements and post them for you tommorrow.
