Well it was another great morning in the woods. The first place I started at resulted in nothing. I pulled into the second place at 8 am and seen two trespassers working a big old Tom. I got the farmer and we politely asked them to leave. (BRUTAL)

That bird they were working was big enough that I couldn't get him out of my head. I knew that was the side of the road I wanted to try.

I waited an hour and slowly headed out to where I thought he would be and after a lengthy 3 - 1/2 hour calling session/ stand off he finally stepped into range. It was a long hunt and well worth it after walking up to this guy.

22.5 lbs
9 - 6/8 " beard
7/8 " matched spurs.

Nice bird Keith, congrats!
Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a bowel movement by the clean end

Congrats on a great bird Keith.
I heard that next year there is going to be a season
on tresspassers. The MNR just not sure how much they should charge us for the tags.

Tresspassers sure can wreck a good thing. It sure felt good to get that bird, especially since they wanted him so bad. When the farmer approached them they made every stupid excuse in the book up. It was brutal.

Shane, as for the truck I bought it to donate it to Gulbrandsen Outfitters. I figured it would be good for business up in Rainy River. A true chick magnet!!!!!! :biker:
