Our dear Buckfever seems to have made the Outdoor's Guy (Jeff Morrisson) Sun newspaper column again. Last time I believe was for a deer harvested. Today is for his first ever turkey that made the FROW at over 33. lbs. Congrats. |

It didn't weigh 33 lbs Michel. That would have been the largest ontario wild turkey ever recorded as far as I know... Bruce's turkey "scored" 35.25 Congratulations on the article, Bruce.

Hey LeGrand, I see what threw you off. The Outdoors guy's article says the bird netted 35.35 lbs. <_< It scored 35.25, it didn't weigh that!... That is a mistake on his part, as is "Friends for the Recognition of Ontario Wildlife". FROW actually stands for "Foundation for the Recognition of Ontario Wildlife". 35.35 lbs... That's one big bird!...

33 lb turkey Thanks guys Ya I think he made a little mistake in his column. He really put alot more into the article than I expected. I thought it would just be a quick mention. |

A bird scoring 35 is nothing to really talk about, now if it was scored at mid 60's up to the 70, thats different. |

A bird scoring 60-70 using the FROW system would really be something to behold because FROW does not include weight. A 60-70 point bird with FROW would potentially be 80-95 with NWTF. That's huge! In the article they make reference to his FROW score, not NWTF. |
