finished the season off with a great morning to be out with my son, we had way too many birds in our field and non willing to get shot. A flock of 6 jakes came in and wanted nothing to do with us, a few hours later 2 long beards and another jake entered. To say we didn't get a few adrenalin rushes would be a lie, we had birds in front of us for over 3 hours.
Looks like its going to be butter ball if i am to eat turkey this summer.

will be stuck in Windsor all week now so its all done, if you head out come up the drainage ditch on the west side of Andre's, them birds both days were about half way in the bean field just past that little pond and in front of the middle stand.
Good luck and keep me posted

hey dobber, sorry to hear that you didn't connect on a bird, was out myself this morning with a friend,l was the guide/caller, we had a tom, jake and a hen pitch down on us at day break, the second the tom saw my strutting decoy he came running in,the jake right behind, they got to the decoy and started eyeballing him all around,at 12yds.my friend MISSED tried to reload his crossbow ,an exomax but by the time he reloaded it without a stirrip on the bow, because he was using a gillatine broadheads the stirrip gets in the way the two birds walked off and never came back, season over.
